I have three different Gipson/Gibson trees here, the first is Richard Gipson 1833/1897 & Louisa Dunn 183o/1901 who were both from North Carolina, Richard was a slave of Aaron Gibson in Miller ARK, and another is George Gipson Sr who was born in SC in 1850 and came to Caddo by 1860, George married Mollie Tyson. Harry Gipson from North Carolina married Jane Tyson and his line is also included. Gipson or Gibson, either way you have both spellings in these families. Some of these Gipsons came from Plantations in Kiblah Arkansas.
