Obituary of Fonda Denise “Blossom” Caldwell

Fonda “Blossom” Denise Caldwell
Fonda “Blossom” Denise Caldwell was born Sept. 17, 1975, in Fort Smith, Arkansas and resided in Fort Smith until her death January 23, 2010. Fonda was a graduate of Northside High School. She worked in retail and as a nurse’s aide for a number of years. Fonda touched many people throughout her life. Many will remember her as a kind person with a beautiful smile. Fonda is survived by her parents, Ravin and Laverne (Johnson) Caldwell; three brothers,Richard Caldwell, Phil Caldwell and Ravin Caldwell Jr.; two sisters, Felicia Green and Belinda Washington; three sisters-in-law, Vanessa Caldwell, Jo Caldwell, and Deanna Caldwell; a brother-in-law, Kenney Washington; a maternal grandmother, Mary Simmons of Lufkin, Texas; two great-aunts, Martha Davis and Hazel Maiden of Lufkin, and two great-uncles, Roy Maiden and Arthur Davis, one great aunt Sarah “Ted” Black Thomas of Houston, Texas. Fonda was also a beloved aunt to 14 nieces and nephews.
Fonda was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Leola Black Phillips and Napoleon Caldwell and her great grandparents, Willie Black and Ida Crocker.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, at Lewis Funeral Chapel, 4817 Kelley Highway in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
